By accessing or using Mongers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

Platform Overview

Mongers is a marketplace connecting customers seeking career advice with vetted experts ("Jobmongers"). We provide the platform and tools for booking and conducting sessions, but we are not a party to the sessions themselves.

Experts are independent professionals, not employees of Mongers. We vet experts before approval but do not guarantee outcomes from sessions.

Account Registration

You must create an account to book sessions or become an expert. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

Booking and Payment

When you book a session, you agree to pay the listed price. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely through Razorpay.

You may reschedule or cancel a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are not refundable unless the expert cancels or fails to attend.

If an expert does not show up for a confirmed session, you will receive a full refund within 5 business days.

Expert Obligations

If you are an expert on Mongers, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your background and expertise
• Maintain availability for booked sessions
• Deliver sessions professionally and in good faith
• Comply with all applicable laws and professional standards
• Not share customer information outside of the platform

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Circumvent the platform to transact directly with experts
• Share or resell access to your account
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Post false or misleading information

Intellectual Property

Mongers and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Mongers or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the platform without our written permission.

Disclaimers

Mongers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Sessions are provided by independent experts. We do not guarantee results, and experts are not providing legal, medical, or other licensed professional advice unless they hold the appropriate credentials.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mongers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Mongers in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
